“Porta dos fundos” is probably one of the most talked about subjects nowadays. For the ones who did not have the opportunity to get to know it, let me introduce you. It is a comedy video producer and also the 31º most subscribed Youtube channel of the world. It was created in 2012 by Antonio Pedro Tabet, Gregorio Duvivier, Fabio Porchat, João Vicente de Castro and Ian SBF, being the first ones actors from the cast, and Ian, the director.
In many interviews, the creators declared to be unsatisfied with the kind of comedy material being produced in Brazil, so they decided to make something different. Their videos are about subjects that go from the bad service offered by the restaurant chain Spoleto to some controversial ones, involving political problems and religious themes.
The channel has in its cast names like Clarice Falcão, Rafael Infante, Julia Rabello and Luis Lobianco. Besides them, actors like Maite Proença and Alexandre Nero have already made special participation in the videos.
Due to its success, they have just launched a book with the scripts of their most popular videos. They also created two other channels, one to show the making off of the videos, called “Fundos da Porta” and another one called “Portaria”, where they talk about the videos of the week and answer some questions from the fans.
